C&G’s Guide to Trivia Nights Bayside
Autumn is upon us, which means we’ll be favouring cosy nights at the local pub over al fresco dining and afternoon cocktails. And what better way to catch up with your friends and family than over one of Bayside’s best trivia nights! In our latest blog, C&G list our favourite trivia nights to enjoy in Bayside. Let the games begin!
1. Jimmi Jamz - Elwood
Join quiz master Alex every Tuesday evening for a night of trivia at Jimmi Jamz. Eat, drink and be merry while you answer trivia questions on all the usual topic subjects. Prizes include bar tabs, bottles of wine and bonus drinks for the team with the funniest name. So, go and get creative teams!
2. Tudor Inner - Cheltenham
Registration starts at 7pm for a 7:30pm sharp start to a fun night of trivia. Taking quiz nights to a new level, teams are given wireless buzzers to choose their answers. In this game show quiz style format, everyone is a contestant and (possibly) a winner with some amazing prizes up for grabs.
3. The George - South Melbourne
A classic on the South Melbourne block, The George plays host to its very own Tuesday trivia night. Grab a group or turn up solo and join a team, and feast on the ‘$20 Parma & Pint’ offer. That’s midweek evenings done right.
4. The Local Taphouse - St Kilda
Sunday nights are where it’s at for St Kilda locals, as the infamous trivia night at The Local Taphouse kicks off from 7:30pm in the main bar downstairs. Hosted by the one and only Janet, expect general knowledge teasers, music puzzles and quirky trivia. Answer correctly and there’s prizes on offer – and beer, of course.
5. Prince Alfred - Port Melbourne
Bay Street is alive and kicking every Tuesday from 7.30pm, with burgers flying off the grill from $10 a pop. It’s trivia with a twist, featuring quirky questions and interactivity with videos, music and games – and of course, prizes to be won. Plus, free entry!
6. Middle Park Hotel, Middle Park
Hosted by Funky Bunch Trivia, Middle Park’s trivia night kicks off at 7pm on Wednesdays. With cash voucher prizes up for grabs, you’ll want to brush up on your general knowledge to be in with a chance to win. Expect fun and games aplenty – plus, if you head there early you can enjoy happy hour between 4 & 7pm.
