Tips & Advice

Ho, ho, ho! Christmas is coming, and so too are the festive events to get you in the spirit of things. Today, C&G round up the best upcoming community events to pop in your calendar this season.

Elwood Traders Late Night Shopping

The annual Elwood Traders Late Night Christmas Shopping returns for another year on Thursday 29 November. Get your Christmas shopping ticked off early and enjoy a festive bite or beverage with your nearest and dearest. Businesses on Ormond Road will be open late, offering special Christmas deals, giveaways and discounts. Look out for Chisholm and Gamon who will be spreading festive joy handing out C&G yo-yos from 5-8pm.

St Joseph’s Christmas Carnival

St Joseph’s Primary School invites you to celebrate the festive season on Sunday 2 December from 2-6pm. Packed with stalls and rides, you’ll be able to have a Christmas tipple and the beer and wine bar and stock up on Christmas gifts from local creators.

Black Rock Christmas Festival

Bluff Road will come alive on Friday 7 December from 5-9pm with rides, sausage sizzle, prizes, competitions, Christmas carols, live music and more. Presented by Beaumaris Rotary Club, Bayside City Council and South East Water, this family-friendly event is the perfect way to ring in the silly season.

Chisholm & Gamon wishes the Bayside community a happy and safe start to the Christmas season. Remember to drink responsibly!
