<p>Lyn’s Lunch is so named for Lyn McPherson, a lady who was diagnosed in 2009 with ovarian cancer, succumbing to this insidious disease only 15 months later at the age of 52.</p>

<p>Funds raised by the Lyn’s Lunch Charity support the Women’s Cancer Foundation – an organisation that treats and cares for around 300 women each year suffering from gynaecological cancer. This year the charity event was held at the Sandringham Yacht Club on a beautiful sunny day.</p>

<p>Torsten Kasper, Chisholm and Gamon’s Managing Director, acted as the auctioneer at this year’s Lyn’s Lunch. He did a wonderful job of getting the attention of the unruly mob and managed to extract some good bidding for the items.</p>
<p>We are pleased to advise that the Lyn’s Lunch Charity is able to donate in excess of $35,000 from this event again this year to The Ovarian Cancer Institute taking the total to over $150,000 over the four years.</p>
