C&G’s Guide to Live Love Work Port Phillip

Local Community

Throughout trying times, we endeavour to seek stories inspiring hope and celebrate the initiatives making a difference within our community. C&G are proud to announce our continuing partnership with Live Love Work Port Phillip. Our latest blog shares the amazing efforts achieved by this initiative – read on!

Live Love Work Port Phillip is a Bayside initiative founded by 3 local businesswomen: Georgie Stayches, Vesna Grdjan and Alison McDowell. They are all successful entrepreneurs, therefore are naturally passionate about fostering community and connection in Port Phillip, and continue to celebrate the region’s eclectic personality and diversity.

Chisholm and Gamon were proud to have sponsored and attended their annual International Women’s Day Breakfast in early March. The event invited all local professionals to gather and celebrate the women who have contributed to the community’s diverse culture and growth. You can read our blog about it here!

Live Love Work recently collaborated with Georgina Dragwidge again, who was the International Women’s Day Breakfast guest speaker for 2020! Georgina is the proud owner of Georgie’s Harvest, a small business specialising in root vegetables and fresh seasonal produce at the South Melbourne Market on Coventry Street. She works closely with local farmers and is a frequent winner of the Melbourne Market Awards. She features in the latest episode of Live Love Work’s Local Stories series, discussing ‘customer choice’ and how shopping small and local is greatly appreciated throughout Covid-19. It’s a ripple effect that extends to small farmers, who would otherwise struggle financially through this uncertain time. It is uncharted territory for small businesses, but they are extremely grateful for the continuing consumer support and will continue providing essentials!
