C&G’s Guide to Easter

Local Community

Can you believe it’s April already? With plenty of sunshine ahead, you can be sure Melbourne is packed with exciting events this weekend. This C&G blog rounds up the best activities to enjoy during the Easter break!

Easter at Queen Victoria Market

The Queen Victoria Market is the best place to shop local this weekend, while also keeping the little ones entertained! Until the 4th of April, the Easter Trail will be happening across 10 unique locations within the market. Kids will have plenty of fun searching for clues to find a special prize! On the 3rd and 4th of April, the Easter Bunny will also be making a special appearance and handing out eggs to collect! To find your trail map and snap a photo with our furry guest, check out the website here.

Pixar Putt

From the 1st of April, Federation Square will be transformed into a Pixar-themed mini golf course featuring your favourite characters from Toy Story, the Incredibles, Monsters, Inc., and more! There are plenty of ticket packages for the whole family to enjoy, or ‘After Dark’ sessions on Thursday to Saturday nights if you fancy a cocktail with your club. Read all about it on Time Out here, or visit the official website for more details.

Cadbury Worldwide Easter Egg Hunt

It’s not Easter without an egg hunt! If buying chocolate eggs and turning your home into a maze has escaped your mind, you can actually host a hunt online! Simply sign up on the Cadbury website, hide your egg anywhere in the world through Google Maps, write your clues and let the fun begin. You’ll also have the option to purchase special egg packages and have them delivered locally. More details can be found on the Cadbury website here.

Me and UooUoo

Have you spotted the colourful and adorable UooUoo sculptures around the city? This special art trail – as part of the Royal Children’s Hospital 150th anniversary – has been extended until the 7th of April! There are 100 UooUoo sculptures found all over Melbourne and Geelong, each featuring a unique design from an Australian artist. You can download the app and enter a code for each UooUoo you discover, unlocking a number of special rewards.

Whether you’re making the most of the sunshine or enjoying a peaceful break at home, Chisholm and Gamon wish you a memorable Easter weekend. We hope you’re spoiled with plenty of chocolates, and spend the holiday with great company! See you back in the office Tuesday!
