C&G’s Guide to Bayside Carols this Christmas
With December upon us this week, Christmas songs have become the soundtrack to our days. In today’s blog, C&G share the best places to sing carols this festive season.
Carols in the Park
Held at Dendy Park, Carols in the Park on December 12 will be one of Bayside’s biggest and best festive events. Packed with musical entertainment from bands and choirs, as well as family fun, food, drink and festive cheer, this is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.
Carols at Como
On December 17, one of Melbourne’s most iconic locations will host its very own celebration of Christmas carols. Como House in South Yarra welcomes you to enjoy performances from well known musical stars, while you indulge in a picnic and festivities on the lawn with friends and family.
Carols in the Park Bentleigh
Bentleigh Hodgson Reserve will host Sam Moran’s – yes, the yellow Wiggle! – Christmas spectacular on December 9. Bring a picnic, a rug and your loved ones and settle in for a night of carols and Christmas fun for all. There’s children’s craft activities on offer, as well as food and drink vendors to make your night extra special.
Carols by Kingston
On Saturday 10 December, Sir William Fry Reserve hosts Kingston’s installment of festive caroling. Including an artisan market, visits from Santa and outstanding performances from musical greats all rounded off with an impressive fireworks display, this family-friendly event will get you feeling festive.
Christmas Carols on the Lawn
December 10 sees Springvale Botanical Cemetery invite members of the community to enjoy a festive celebration. Designed to offer companionship and support to those experiencing grief at Christmas time, Carols on the Lawn will feature performances from the Australian Chamber Choir. Visitors are welcomed to bring a picnic, or purchase refreshments from the on-site café.
