Best School Holiday Bayside Events

In today’s blog, C&G rounds up the best of Bayside school holiday events for Summer – each sure to keep the kids entertained and educated. 

Rare is the parent who hasn’t heard the cry of ‘Mum, Dad…I’m sooo bored!’ Instead of attempting to think of new and creative activities for the kids to enjoy on your ownsome, C&G have sought out educational and fun-filled events to add to your school holiday itinerary. Bowling, surfing, cooking classes or some outdoor adventures - these summer activities will keep the kids occupied – even if just for the day:

1.  Summer By The Sea

This activity gets C&G’s seal of approval! Every year during the January school holidays, Coastcare Victoria organises hundreds of coastal activities specifically for kids. The Summer By The Sea program is a hands-on experience that allows kids to get up-close with sea life and learn more about marine species and their oceanic habitats.

2.  Bayside School Holiday Summer Program

Laser tag, surfing, water parks and tickets to see the hit stage musical Aladdin – Bayside City Council must be our very own magical Genie! The Bayside School Holiday Summer Program runs for two weeks with amazing activities planned for ages 10-17. Prices vary by activity.

3.  Brighton Recreational Centre Program

When it comes to primary school kids, Brighton Recreational Centre have the whole of January covered. Bowling, movies, cooking classes and excursions to Werribee Zoo – this school program is a great way to get the kids off their electronic devices with some old fashioned outdoor fun.

4.  InSportz - Playdays

This indoor play centre is a safe, active education space for kids under 5 years old. While the kids swing, dive and wear themselves out, adults can grab a delicious cup of coffee from the Sports Café and enjoy free Wi-Fi.

These school holiday activities will not only entertain the kids all summer long – they’re also a fantastic opportunity for kids to socialise and make new friends.
