C&G’s Guide to the Live Love Work Port Phillip International Women’s Day Breakfast
Live Love Work Port Phillip will be hosting its annual International Women’s Day Breakfast on the 6th of March at 7:15am. This special event invites all professionals in the Port Phillip area to gather and celebrate the women who have contributed to the region’s diverse culture and growth. C&G are proud supporters of this event, and our latest blog unpacks the main highlights. Have a read – we hope to see you there!
After a successful 2019 event, the breakfast will be held at the West Beach Bathers Pavilion in St Kilda West. This initiative was founded by 3 local businesswomen: Georgie Stayches, Vesna Grdjan and Alison McDowell. They are all successful entrepreneurs, therefore are naturally passionate about fostering community and connection in Port Phillip. Apart from celebrating women, Live Love Work also celebrates the region’s eclectic personality and diversity.
Georgina Dragwidge will be this year’s guest speaker. Georgina works for Georgie’s Harvest at the South Melbourne Market, and is a frequent winner of the Melbourne Market Awards. You will be able to hear many anecdotes from her experience in fresh seasonal produce, how she supports local farmers and her passion for the Port Phillip community.
The 2020 charity partners are Lord Somers Camp and Power House, a volunteer-led organisation focused on creating community, diversity and tolerance. They also run programs assisting disadvantaged youth from the Port Phillip area. $5 from each ticket sale will be donated to supporting these wonderful programs.
2019 was a sold-out event so don’t forget to lock down your tickets quickly! They can be booked here and it will cost $68.50 per person to attend. Chisholm and Gamon hope to see you there bright and early!
