Whether you’re a Christmas nut – or you’re not quite in the spirit yet – C&G’s favourite carol singing sessions in Bayside will wet your appetite for the festive season.
Mount Martha Cricket Club Carols on the Lawn, Sunday 20th December
This delightful location brings families and the community together for an evening of carolling in the surrounds of Fererro Reserve in Mount Martha. Just $2 entry, you’ll enjoy a festive evening packed with music and laughter for the whole family.
Carols and Fireworks at Como Park, Sunday 13th December.
This free event features stars of world famous musicals, from The Phantom of the Opera to Wicked. The South of the River Choir and Stonnington City Brass band will be filling the park with fabulous melodies, so pack a picnic and your festive cheer and enjoy the music and fireworks.
Christmas By The Pier, Port Melbourne, Sunday 13th December
This all-new annual charity event at Port Melbourne Port provides an afternoon of fun and activities, from charity auctions to balloon sculpting – and of course packed with carol singing. Enjoy the fashion parade, meet Santa Claus and grab a bite to eat overlooking the pier. All proceeds on the day go to Variety.
Beaumaris Community Carols, Community Centre, Thursday 24th December
On Christmas Eve itself, what better time to warm up those vocal chords and get in the spirit. A visit from Santa and some excellent solo performers, this event is the perfect family night before Christmas. Song book are provided, and you’ll sing away the evening lit by candlelight.
Carols by Candlelight, Brighton Baptist Church, Sunday 13th December
Join Brighton Baptist Church for an evening of carolling and supper. Get involved in the local community, chat with friends old and new and get your family ready for Christmas. This candlelit carolling service will get you ready for the Christmas break and remind you what’s important this Christmas.
