St Columba’s Primary Sausage Sizzle and Cake Sale
At 24 Glenhuntly Road in Elwood, St Columba’s Primary School has everything you need to fuel up for a weekend of election activities. Vego goodies, cakes - and of course an almighty sausage sizzle with smallgoods from The Olive Tree in South Melbourne. A full tummy will help you cast your all-important ballot, which is ideal as you can vote at St Columba’s too!
Brighton Primary School Community Fair
On Wilson Street, the Brighton Primary Community Fair runs from 10am-3pm. Grab a classic Aussie sausage, browse the market stalls and let the kids enjoy the jumping castle and holiday activities.
Bentleigh West Primary Sausage Sizzle
Located on Brewer Road, the Bentleigh West Primary School election day sausage sizzle comes with a little something extra. While you stop by for a home baked cake and BBQ sausage in fluffy white bread, you can also get your hands on the school cook book - now there’s an idea to keep the kids entertained over the school break!
McKinnon Hall Cancer Research Fundraiser
Held by the 1st McKinnon Scouts, this election day fundraiser comes with an extra dash of good deeds. A simple but classic and tasty sausage sizzle, with all profits raised supporting Cancer Research. Held at McKinnon Public Hall.
Where can I vote Bayside?
Don’t get too caught up in the sausage sizzlin’ fun, because between 8am and 6pm on Saturday 2nd July, you’re required to vote in the Australian Federal Election. We’ve rounded up some polling stations close to the fairs and fundraisers listed to keep your election day running smoothly:
