Library Activities

Libraries are always a good first port of call come school holiday time, and the city of Stonnington has you covered with a host of activities for 5 – 12 year olds and 12 – 17 year olds. For the younger kids, the April School Holiday Program offers free ‘travelling circus’ activities, including making a miniature circus! For teens, there is free access to an Xbox and Wii at the Prahran Library and documentaries and indie films can be streamed on demand.

Kids in Motion

Parents wanting kids to work off all that extra energy are in luck with Port Melbourne’s Kids in Motion! Their week 1 holiday program runs from Monday 30 March to Thursday 2 April for children aged 4 – 15 years old. The program covers a massive range of activities: rock climbing races, slam dunk contests, trampolining, acrobatics, Lego, craft activities and more!

Gasworks Kids Holiday Program

Children aged 4 – 14 will find a host of activities to suit all tastes at Gasworks in Albert Park these school holidays. The first week of the program includes making and performing with shadow puppets (4 – 7 years), learning dance routines (5 – 14 years) and creating clay Easter animals (5 – 10 years).
