Local Community

Now in its 6th year, the
Paris to Provence festival will transform the National Trust’s stunning Como House into a replica French village. In today’s post, C&G have rounded up the highlights to make sure you see all the best bits. Mon Dieu!

Rich with live music, French food and wine, art, magic and dance, Paris to Provence is a real celebration of frenchy-chicness. The authentic atmosphere makes for a perfect spring day out, and with activities for both adults and kids, the whole family is welcome.

Photography contest and exhibition

Got some amazing snaps from your French getaway? Submit them into the photography competition for your chance to win a range of prizes. Alternatively, browse the selection of quaint streetscapes and landscapes while sipping on a fine wine.

French Bulldog Fancy Dress

Got a French pooch or just think they’re adorable? Get involved in the fancy dress party, and enter your pup dressed in his finest cozzie to win a voucher for some serious doggy pampering.

Musique Marquee

Tired, aching feet from all the French fun? Take a seat on a comfy beanbag and watch some French music on the big screen. They’ll be screening the Fete de la Musique from Paris this year.

Art Classes

Fancy yourself a creative? Book onto an art class and let the talented teachers from Art Soup guide you to the creation of a masterpiece – which, by the way, you get to keep! For the kids, the Children’s Garden hosts young art master classes and ballet lessons for the elegant among you. There’s also French storytime readings and lavender playdough stations!

Dinner Under the Stars

Arguably the piece de la resistance of Paris to Provence, Picque-Nicque en Blanc offers dining under the stars, while sipping on Mumm Champagne and listening to live entertainment. With an all-white dress code, the ambience ready and waiting.
