C&G’s Guide to the Easter School Holidays

Local Community

Yes, it’s that time again! School’s almost out for Easter, and as always, C&G are on hand to share the best school holiday activities to keep your kids smiling.

Wonderland at ACMI

ACMI’s latest exhibition celebrates the tales of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Fall down the rabbit hole of magic as you explore the immersive world of the looking glass. Aside from general exhibition entry, there’s also talks and discussions, as well as low sensory guided tours for those with autism or other sensitivities.

Melbourne Comedy Festival

There are plenty of opportunities to get your kids laughing at this year’s Melbourne Comedy Festival. Alex & Luke’s Make Your Parents Disappear magic show rolls out the funnies while pulling off amazing tricks, and over at the Brat Kids Carnival, afternoons of silliness, circus tricks and party tricks will delight the whole family.

Kids Day Out

An annual fundraiser for the Good Friday Appeal, Kids Day Out at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is packed with weatherproof fun for the whole family. Races, exhibitors, food markets, games and even ice skating will be on offer from 10am-5pm on Good Friday.

Bayside School Holiday Program

Bayside Council has you covered these school holidays, with a jam-packed program that’ll keep your little ones busy. From art classes and virtual reality experiences to excursions to Gumbuya World and a Tree Surfing Park, you’re safe in the knowledge your kids are having fun in a safe environment.

Easter School Holidays at Eureka Skydeck

For the entire Autumn school holidays, Eureka Skydeck is teaming up with Crayola to offer free kids activities each day from 11am-3pm. Kids will get the chance to scribble on the windows and illustrate the views of Melbourne, and make their own bunny ears for an Easter-themed craft challenge.
