With summer drawing to a close all too soon, it’s time to make the most of the weather while we can. This Sunday 26th February, Brighton Foreshore Reserve hosts the Bright ‘n’ Sandy Food and Wine Festival, so where better to soak up the sun than this annual celebration of delicious eats and treats? 

Amidst the picturesque backdrop of Brighton’s famous bathing boxes, Green Point at Brighton Foreshore Reserve will welcome that anticipated annual event that is  Bright ‘n’ Sandy Food and Wine Festival. Packed with live cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and a focus on craft beer, the celebration is the perfect end-of-summer’s day out for the whole family. Today C&G have rounded up some of the highlights, ensuring your visit is full of the best bits. 

MINI Spritz Pop-Up Bar

Cruising around Melbourne, popping up at all the best summer events, the MINI Spritz Pop-Up Bar will be serving up signature Spritz cocktails for that refreshing summer gulp – not to mention the ultimate photo accessory. Kick back and enjoy the ultimate lazy Sunday on a picnic rug overlooking the bay. 

Food and Beverage Exhibitors

You certainly won’t be stuck for tasty eats at the festival, with the likes of That Arancini Guy, 48h Pizza & Gnocchi and Royale Brothers burgers! Once the thirst kicks in, you’ll be able to wash it all down with fine local wines from Oakridge and Rob Dolan Wines, while craft beers from Red Hill Brewery and 2 Brothers Brewery will keep your taste buds on their toes.

Demonstration Stage

The demonstration stage is your chance to pick up some top cooking tips to make your dishes infinitely tastier. Packed with live sessions throughout the day, chef appearances include the team from The Pantry Brighton, Huxtaburger’s Daniel Wilson and Coda & Tonka’s Adam D’Sylva. Market Stalls

Aside from food and beverage exhibitors, a number of artisan stalls will line the foreshore. From handmade cakes by Rosemarie’s Cakes to Jewellery from Sophie M Designs, you’ll find plenty of gifts, treats and knick-knacks to browse. Lifestyle exhibitors will also include Brighton Wellness Group, Dinner Sorted and BBQs Plus

Kid’s Activities

For the little ones, there’s plenty going on to keep them entertained. Face painting, cooking sessions, photo booth fun and craft workshops will unleash their creativity and provide day-long fun for all ages.
