Many celebrated the New Year on January 1, but for the Chinese community in Melbourne, there’s a 2 week-long celebration ahead to welcome in the Year of the Dog. In today’s blog, C&G share some of the best ways to join in the celebrations throughout the festival from Feb 15-28. 

Chinese New Year Gala Concert, St Kilda

Annually loved by over 2500 attendees, the Chinese New Year Gala Concert lights up St Kilda’s lower esplanade for a night of performance from the He Nan Province Arts Company and the Shao Lin Monk Chinese Culture and Martial Arts Academy. 

A Bricktastic Lunar New Year

Chadstone’s Legoland Discovery Centre will play host to the bricktastic spectacular this Lunar New Year.
