BAYSIDE MEET-UP GROUPS

Local Community

Meet-up groups are a practical, beneficial way to step out of your comfort zone, make new connections, create memories and even learn a new skill or two! In this C&G blog, our team dives into innovative and productive social groups we’ve found within the Bayside precinct.

SUNDOWN ZEN

Sundown sound therapy and meditation sessions have become a weekly occurrence at St Kilda’s West Beach Bathers Pavilion. This group has become a safe haven for over 1,200 individuals within the Bayside community, providing a place of relaxation, mindfulness and new connections.

PEN TO PAPER

Writers Victoria supports and connects writers from all stages of their careers. Whether you’re a veteran writer or have a new-found interest for putting pen to paper, we recommend trying out a writer’s groups in Port Melbourne and Brighton. From courses and workshops to mentorships and advice, channel your inner author while gaining inspiration from like-minded individuals.

GROUP TRAINING

Group personal training sessions are a great way to meet new people and achieve your fitness goals together. Training with a group of motivating fitness fanatics will encourage you to work harder, and develop a friendship beyond the gym class. C&G loves Step into Life and Busta Move’s Bayside locations, that often use our beautiful beach as their gym facility.

GIVE BACK

Bayside Volunteering, a Bayside City Council initiative, is a one-stop portal for volunteering opportunities within the community. Give back to those in need whilst meeting new people from several walks of life.

MADE FOR WALKIN’

Not only does walking offer substantial advantages to your physical and mental health, it is also a proven way to build strong relationships. Joining a walking group provides opportunity to develop connections with inspiring individuals whilst keeping fit at the same time. Make walking a part of your routine in 2019 and prepare to reap the benefits!

So, what are you waiting for? If you have some more Bayside group suggestions, the C&G team would love to hear them.
